Ready to start posting ads on TikTok? You will need to create your own TikTok Ads Manager account. Read on to learn how to create your account, pass the account review, and share your Ad Account ID.
Creating Your Account

After you've verified your login information and agreed to TikTok Ads' terms and conditions, click Sign Up.
- Next, enter the basic details about your business:
- Time Zone: This cannot be changed later.
- Business Name: This should be the same as, or closely related to, your company's legal name. If the "Business Name" of your account does not match the actual name of your business, you will not pass the account review.
- Additionally, if you wish to use TikTok For Business products like the TikTok Creator Marketplace or apply for ad credit programs, your "Business Name" must be consistent with the name on official documents, such as a business license or IRS SS-4 EIN Assignment Letter.
- Currency
- Click Register.
- Next, you'll land on your Dashboard. Click your "user icon" on the top-right corner of the Dashboard and select Account Info from the dropdown menu.
- On the Account Setup page, enter your Business Information:
- Company Website: Enter the URL of your company's website in the following format, "https://www.tiktok.com/". URLs that do not follow this format will not be accepted during the account review.
- Note: To pass the account review, your company website must: function properly, contain all the required contact information, clearly promote a product or service, and be relevant to the product or service you want to promote.
- Street Address
- State/Province
- Postal code: The postal code of the region where your business is registered
- Business Verification (Optional): Upload a government or officially issued number that you use to do business or pay taxes in your country. For example, in the US, you will use your federal taxpayer identification number.
- This is not required to complete your account, but verifying your business will allow you to apply for ad credit programs and use additional TikTok For Business services like the TikTok Creator Marketplace.
- Select your Payment Type (Choose between Manual Payment or Automatic Payment).
- Click Submit at the bottom of the page. Your account will be sent for review by TikTok; this process can take up to 24 hours.

Share Your TikTok Ad Account ID
If you are working with a marketing agency to help run your TikTok ads, then you will need to add them as a partner in your Business Center. You can find that within your TikTok Business Center dashboard:
- On the Business Center dashboard, select Users > Partners on the left-hand sidebar.
- Click Add Partner and add their Business ID.
- Click Next and make sure you check the box for any ad accounts, catalogs, and pixels you want to share with them.
- Click Finish.
