Throughout the Point of Sale software, when an email address is entered the software will verify it is a valid email upon entry. If you enter a false email such as no@no.com or test@test or an email address that does not exist, the software will display a warning that the email is incorrect.
It is important to know that this is only a warning, users can still save the client card or setup page with the invalid information. The warning is intended to be helpful in gathering client information.
IMPORTANT: Businesses can help themselves by always using a valid email in Client Cards. If a client does not offer an email, simply click the "No Email" checkbox. When a false email is entered, it can negatively impact your business email associated with sending reminders or marketing emails.
Too many false emails can result in your businesses email getting flagged as "SPAM" or "JUNK".
