The Text Message Marketing tool in Marketing 360® Nurture can help you communicate with your employees and customers through text messages.
Keep teammates up to speed with the status of your most recent task. Notify customers about an upcoming promotion. Text Marketing can reach your target audience with timely, coordinated Text communication. Use it to increase sales, leverage automated communication, and build loyalty!
Please keep in mind: You cannot manually add a new user to your Text Marketing Contacts from Marketing 360®. This must be initiated by a user reaching out to you to comply with the Telephone Consumer Protection Act. Besides, sending a customer an unsolicited text message just isn't a good look for your business.
How Text Marketing Works
In order for others to receive automated text message communication from you, they first have to subscribe to your messaging. They'll do this by texting a unique 10-digit phone number. After they have texted you to subscribe, your contacts can give you their name and/or birthday by simply texting it to you.
Through means like your website, social media accounts, or email, you'll encourage users to send a text to your assigned 10-digit text message number. Once they've done so, they'll be added to your text message contacts.
Registering Your Business
To begin using text marketing for your business, use the Text Message Marketing setup wizard to select your unique 10-digit phone number. The wizard will guide you through the process.
To get started, select Nurture from the Global App menu, then click on the Text Marketing tab. You will first need to register your brand for text message marketing approval, then once approved, you can select your phone number. The Contacts page in Marketing 360® Nurture displays all users that have subscribed to your text marketing communications. You can search your text marketing contacts by their name or phone number using the search bar near the top left corner of the page.
Edit any user's details by clicking their phone number in the left column. Once you're viewing their profile, several actions are available.

You may also add these subscribers to specific lists. Text Marketing Lists allow you to segment your contacts and reach out to specific lists of people with targeted text message communication.
For example, create a list titled 'Customer Loyalty' to send promotions to your best customers.

Automated text marketing journeys are sets of text messages that are sent at scheduled intervals. Each message within an automated journey can be sent out right away or scheduled for a later time. Use automated journeys to send your customers coupons, trivia, payment reminders, or just about anything else!
