Add an Image or Image Gallery to a Page

To add images to your website's pages, you can upload images to an Image block or Image Gallery block. An Image block only allows you to upload one image, while an Image Gallery allows you to add multiple images.

Add an image block

To add a single image to a page:

1. Select the Pages tab at the top of your Websites app, and open the page where you’d like to add the image(s).
2. Select the (+) button at the bottom of the page or in between the content blocks.
   
   
   
3. Select Image from the menu that appears.
   
   
   
4. An Image block will be created. To upload an image from your device, you can drag or drop an image into the upload field, or click Select From Computer. You can also select Pick From Library to choose an image you've previously uploaded to your Image Collection.
   
   
   

Add an image gallery block

To add a multiple images in a gallery format:

1. Select the Pages tab at the top of your Websites app, and open the page where you’d like to add the image(s).
2. Select the (+) button at the bottom of the page or in between the content blocks.
   
   
   
3. Select Image gallery from the menu that appears.
   
   
   
4. An Image gallery block will be created. To upload images from your device, you can drag or drop the images into the upload field, or click Select From Computer. You can also select Pick From Library to choose images you've previously uploaded to your Image Collection.
   
   Note: You can also turn on Dynamic Image Selection to pull in all photos from your Image Collection. However, this option does not let you pick and choose which images to include.
   
   

Rearrange your image gallery

Once your images are uploaded to your image gallery block, you can re-arrange the order of the images. Click and hold the "move" icon to the left of each image, and drag the image up or down to change its order in the gallery.

You can also edit how your gallery will display on the page. For example, you can display the images as a slideshow or in a grid format. To change the layout of an image gallery:

1. Click Design this page at the top of the page.
   
   
   
2. The Design panel will open. Click directly on one of the images in your gallery. This will open the image gallery block's settings on the right-hand sidebar.
3. Select the dropdown menu under Type. A menu will open, showing you the gallery layout options.
   
   
   
4. You can also scroll down on the sidebar to view and edit other design options and settings for your gallery. Click Save at the bottom of the page when finished.
