Access to Developer Tools - CSS, Head JS, and Body JS – Marketing 360®

Note: This article provides steps for code provided by third-party sources. Any troubleshooting with third-party applications should be handled by the application’s support team or your custom developer. Should you need a Marketing 360® custom developer to perform a technical evaluation, a quote can be provided at your request.

Developer tools allow you to add custom CSS and JavaScript (JS) code to your site. The tools are not available by default; you can follow the steps below to gain access.

Note: Only Owner and Admin roles can access the Settings panel. If you are a Contributor, you will need to ask the site Admin to grant you Developer permissions.

Select the Settings icon (the "gear" icon) in the top navigation bar.
Click on Users & Roles sub-header under Settings.
Select the edit link next to the user email you want to grant access to.
Check the Developer box and select Save.
Refresh the Dashboard in your browser. You should now see an additional Developer icon in your Dashboard navigation bar.

Once you access the Developer Tools dashboard, then you can add CSS codes or scripts in the Header (the Head JS dashboard) or Body (the Body JS dashboard) section of your site.

Custom CSS & Javascript code that you add overwrites any changes made in the design tool, so if you aren't very experienced with custom code, we suggest that you consult with our support team before making significant changes.
