The Direct Messages section in the Social app is designed to display direct messages (DMs) across your social profiles in one place. We know that interaction with these messages is key to maintaining a positive brand image, and want to take the hassle of managing them natively in each application a thing of the past! All messages are time-stamped, making it easy to pick up an older conversation and communicate right within the platform!
To access your direct messages:
- Select the Activity Feed tab at the top of the Social app.
- Click Direct Messages at the top of the page.
You can use the dropdown menus on the page to choose which social accounts to display, sort the order in which messages appear, and filter by keywords.
There are a couple of things to note about this tool:
- At this time, only Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter/X will display direct messages in the tool.
- For Instragram direct messages, you have 7 days to reply before it is removed.
- Direct messages can have a maximum of 1,000 characters.
