If you have anybody creating social posts on your behalf, you can enable a setting that requires approval before the posts are published.
Create an approval link
If you are the user who creates social posts on behalf of someone else, then you can create a link to send to the user who will review and approve the posts for publishing.
- Click the Create tab at the top of the page.
- Select Approvals at the top of the Create dashboard.
- Click + New Approval at the top-right corner of the page.
- When the menu appears, give the approval a Title, then click Select Content to choose which social posts to include in the approval link.
Click on each post that you would like to include, then click the Add Items button in the bottom-right corner - or, click Select All Content to include every post in your Content Library.
Optional: Turn on the Internal Approval setting to send notifications to the user regarding all activity happening on internal approvals.
- Click Create Approval.
- The approval will be listed on the Approvals page. Click the "gear" icon next to the approval under the Controls column to copy the unique URL link to send to the user, as well as view, edit, or delete the approval.
Require approvals for all new posts
You can automatically require all new posts to be approved before they are published:
- Click the Settings tab at the top of the page.
- Select Publishing at the top of the Settings dashboard.
- Turn on the setting labeled Require Content Approvals.
Require approval for an individual post
You can also require approval on a per-post basis:
- Click the Create tab at the top of the page.
- Select + Create Content on the top-right corner of the Content Library to create a new social post.
- On the Create Post Content window, scroll down to the section labeled Content Settings. Turn on the Require Approval setting.
