The Footer settings in the Design panel control the layout, text settings, social icon designs, and design settings of your website's Footer. This is a sitewide setting, so any change you make here will apply to every page on your website. To find out how to add content blocks to your footer, see this support guide.
To choose or change the layout of your website:
- Click Design at the top of your Websites app to open the Design panel.
- On the right-hand sidebar, navigate to the Sitewide tab and select Footer.
You will have the option to modify the following settings:
Layout |
This controls how your Footer elements are laid out. Footer elements are arranged in a "column" format; you can set the number of columns here. For example, if you have four content blocks in your Footer, but two "columns", then there will be two columns with two items stacked on top of one another. |
Text | Here, you can choose how the text content appears in your Footer. You can choose a text color, capitalization style, and adjust text size and spacing. |
Social Icons | If you use a Social Icons content block in your Footer, this is where you can edit the size, color, and appearance of the icons. |
Container | The Container section lets you choose background or "fill" color or pattern for your Footer. You can also add Padding, which adds extra empty space above or below the items in the Footer. |
Border | You can choose to add a border around your Footer. |
Credit | You can choose to show or hide the "Created with Websites 360" message in your Footer. If you choose to show it, you can adjust its placement, size, and text color. |
Mobile | If you have a separate Mobile Footer enabled, then you can edit its appearance here. You can change the layout of the icons, the text color, icon style and colors, and background. |
