You can manage and authenticate the Sending Domain(s) you use to send your email campaigns through the Nurture Settings dashboard.
To access your Sending Domains Settings page, open your Nurture app, then click Settings at the top of the page. Then, select Sending Domains on the left-hand sidebar.
This page is where you can view your sending domain(s), add a new sending domain, check your domain authentication status, and view instructions for how to authenticate your domain.
- Step 1: Add a new sending domain
- Step 2: Set up required DKIM and DMARC DNS records
- Verify your domain authentication status
- Re-check your domain record
- Remove a sending domain
Step 1: Add a new sending domain
To add a new sending domain, click Add a new domain.
Enter in the domain that you would like to send emails from and click Continue.
Step 2: Set up required DKIM and DMARC DNS records
After you have entered your sending domain, you will need to verify it by adding DKIM and DMARC records within your domain registrar. These records are required by Google and Yahoo as part of their February 2024 Sender Requirements, and help to improve your credibility as a sender and increase your email deliverability.
You can either send the instructions to a technical team who has access to your registrar, or do it yourself.
Option 1: Send the instructions to someone else
If you have a technical team in charge of your domain’s DNS Records, you will see the option to copy the setup instructions, which you can then send to them.
Option 2: Set them up yourself
If you are setting up the domain yourself, click Continue.
Next, you will see the instructions for how to create DKIM and DMARC domain records.
You may copy/paste the name/host and Values for your DKIM and DMARC records to add them in your Domain Registrar. See how to update records in common domain registrars here. Need help setting up your domain? Reach out to support@marketing360.com
Optional Record: SPF
While SPF is not currently required by email service providers, it is highly recommended. Learn how to add a SPF record in this support guide.
Verify your domain authentication status
Once you have added your records, click the green button labeled I’ve added the records.
Our system will then automatically check your domain’s records. You may see a message like the one in the example below. If this happens, wait for a couple minutes and click Re-check my records.
Once your domain is authenticated, you will see green checkmarks next to DKIM, DMARC, and SPF:
Note: What you see in this setup flow will depend on your domain’s current authentication records.
Re-check your domain record.
To re-check your records at any time, you may navigate back to this checker, and click Re-Check record.
Remove a sending domain
If you have a sending domain that you no longer want, click the overflow menu, and select Remove from the dropdown menu.
