Install the Marketing 360® Printer Driver

Confirm the Printer is NOT plugged in via USB to start.

Click here to download the Windows Star TSP 100ECO printer driver.

Go to the downloads folder and locate the TSP 100 compressed folder

Right click the file, and select Extract All
-
Extract All step may take a few minutes to complete and the folder will automatically open once completed.

Right click on the Autorun application and select Open (or double click on the Autorun application)

A privacy / security pop up may appear, select the Run Anyway option.

A TSP100 pop up will appear, select Installation
-
Review the terms and select "I Accept"

Click Next > on the InstallShield Wizard that appears.

Enter a Username and Organization, then click Next.

Select Typical for the Installation Type, then clickNext.

Click Install, then choose Finish when the installation is complete.

Click Exit.
Setup Printer

Plug the Star TSP ECO100 Printer into the USB port

Note: This printer does not work with most USB 3.0 ports. If you encounter an "unknown device" error when plugging the printer in, try other USB ports on your computer. USB 2.0 ports are typically located on the back of your PC.

Select the Windows button and search for "Control Panel" from the search bar.

Select View Devices & Printers.

Right click Star TSP100 Printer, select Printer Properties.

Select the Advanced Tab, then Printer Defaults

Click the Advanced button
-
From the Paper Size drop-down menu, select 72mm x Receipt f
-
Click OK, then select the Device Settings tab
-
Verify that the following settings appear then click OK. Only settings in bold need to be changed from the default:

FRICTION: 72mm x Receipt
-
Paper Type: Receipt
-
Page Cut Type: Partial Cut
-
Document Cut Type: Partial Cut
-
Peripheral Unit Type: Cash Drawer
-
Peripheral Unit 1: Document Top
Setup Cash Drawer
Note: a receipt printer is required to open a cash drawer from a Mac computer.
- Once the printer is installed, plug the cash drawer to the back of the printer on the port labeled, DK, and turn the printer on.
